These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases and use of ptxcanopies.ca. Please read them carefully before placing an order. They include our 30-day return policy and 1-year warranty.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ptxcanopies.ca (the "Website") and any purchase of products from PTX Canopies & Accessories ("PTX Canopies", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Website or place an order. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and PTX Canopies & Accessories, a Canadian business operating from Whitby, Ontario.

2. Products and Pricing

All prices displayed on ptxcanopies.ca are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated at checkout. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice; however, the price shown at the time you complete your purchase will be honoured.

Product Description

The PTX Canopy Pro Series is a heavy-gauge aluminum truck canopy featuring 3-door gull-wing access and full weather sealing. Product images on our website are representative of the product; minor variations in finish or component placement may occur between production runs without affecting product performance or specifications.

2–4 units: 5% discount
5–9 units: 10% discount
10+ units: 15% discount
Approved Resellers: 20% discount (applied automatically at checkout)

Availability

All orders are subject to product availability. In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock after your order is placed, we will contact you promptly to offer a full refund or estimated delivery timeline for a back-order.

3. Placing an Order

By completing the checkout process, you are making a binding offer to purchase the selected products. Your order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email from PTX Canopies.

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order.
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current billing and shipping information.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your selected truck model and bed size are compatible with the PTX Canopy Pro Series. We publish compatibility information on our website; please review it carefully before ordering.
  • PTX Canopies reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including if we suspect fraud or an error in product listing pricing.

4. Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc., a PCI DSS Level 1-certified payment processor. We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and any other payment methods offered by Stripe at checkout.

PTX Canopies does not store, process, or have access to your full payment card details. By providing payment information, you authorize Stripe to charge the total amount shown at checkout, including applicable taxes and shipping.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Service Area: PTX Canopies ships within Canada only. We do not ship to the United States or internationally at this time.
Delivery Timeframe: Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Standard delivery takes 5–10 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on your location within Canada. Remote or rural addresses may require additional transit time.
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs, if applicable, are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. PTX Canopies may offer free or subsidized shipping on qualifying orders; eligibility is shown at checkout.
Risk of Loss: Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. PTX Canopies is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or events outside our reasonable control.
Delivery Issues: If your order is damaged in transit or does not arrive within 15 business days of your expected delivery date, please contact us immediately at info@ptxcanopies.ca so we can investigate and resolve the issue.

6. Returns & Refund Policy

30-Day Free Returns

We offer a 30-day free return policy from the date of delivery. If you are not completely satisfied with your PTX Canopy for any reason, contact us within 30 days and we will arrange a return at no cost to you and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, the canopy must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging. Canopies that have been installed, modified, or show signs of use may not be eligible for a full refund.
How to Initiate a Return: Email info@ptxcanopies.ca with your order number and reason for return within 30 days of delivery. We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and a prepaid shipping label.
Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Damaged or Defective Items: If your canopy arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

7. Manufacturer Warranty

1-Year Manufacturer Warranty

PTX Canopies provides a 1-year manufacturer warranty on the PTX Canopy Pro Series, covering defects in materials and workmanship from the date of original purchase.

What Is Covered: Structural defects in the aluminum frame, welding failures, manufacturing defects in door hinges and latching mechanisms, and defects in factory-applied finishes.
What Is Not Covered: Damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, accident, or neglect; normal wear and tear; surface scratches or cosmetic damage; damage caused by environmental factors (hail, UV fading, road salt) beyond normal product use; modifications or repairs not authorized by PTX Canopies.
How to Make a Warranty Claim: Contact us at info@ptxcanopies.ca with your order number, a description of the defect, and photographs. We will assess the claim and, if approved, repair or replace the product at our cost, or issue a refund at our discretion.

This warranty is in addition to any rights you may have under applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation and does not limit those rights.

8. User Accounts

Creating an account on ptxcanopies.ca is optional but allows you to track orders and apply for our reseller programme. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account password.
  • All activities that occur under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately at info@ptxcanopies.ca if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

PTX Canopies reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for fraudulent purposes.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on ptxcanopies.ca — including text, images, logos, product photography, and website design — is the property of PTX Canopies & Accessories or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission. Viewing or purchasing products does not grant you any intellectual property rights in our content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PTX Canopies & Accessories and its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or website.
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
  • Damage to your vehicle or property arising from improper installation of the canopy.
  • Delays in shipping or delivery beyond our reasonable control.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Dispute Resolution: In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase from PTX Canopies, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at info@ptxcanopies.ca. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes within 30 days.
Jurisdiction: If informal resolution is unsuccessful, the parties agree that any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Consumer Protection: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any consumer rights you may have under applicable Ontario or Canadian consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario).

12. Changes to These Terms

PTX Canopies reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the Effective Date at the bottom of this page. Your continued use of our Website or placing a new order after the updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We recommend bookmarking this page and reviewing it periodically.
